Description: |
Twinkle follows an English rose who believes her life is perfection... until it crumbles around her. |
Synopsis: |
Andy is a free-thinking, unorthodox schoolteacher, who is head hunted by the headmistress of a 'saved' school to shake up the status quo. On his first day he is attracted to a woman who is his complete opposite. Jinny, brought up with old-fashioned values, is deeply entrenched in her own propaganda. She is an English rose, very proper and proud of her family, whom she boasts about at every opportunity. She sees her life as perfection and is condescending of those with alternative lifestyles, until her own life crumbles around her. These two characters will become involving and moving as the story progresses. This is a novel of the modern environment and deals with some of its fragility. It is about making art out of something perhaps not that artistic but very real. |
