Synopsis: |
Effie Redwood is fed up. She's a natural-born entertainer who doesn't like sitting still. She doesn't fit in with the other forest elves, who like sitting quietly and thinking deep thoughts. So when a circus train roars through the forest, Effie decides she has finally found a place where she belongs, and runs away to join the circus. On the way she meets the Polly-Fae, an imp with parrot DNA. It has brought her an invitation to Hags' Academy of Badness, a school for bad fairies. To get in, Effie must perform an act of breathtaking badness. At first Effie says no, but then, when the circus folk are all mean to her, and won't let her show them her act, she changes her mind. Suddenly the idea of being outrageous starts to look very good... |
