Ordering
 Question : I am trying to place an order. Why is my card being declined?
 Answer :
On the payment page, please make sure that:
a) You enter your card details correctly;
b) You enter your card details in the right place;
c) You enter all the necessary card details;
d) Your card details are valid.

If your transaction is declined again, your bank may have noticed:
a) That a transaction is being attempted in the United Kingdom, when you are in another country;
b) An unusual spending pattern.
In both cases, if you phone your bank to tell them that you are trying to order from us, the bank will usually allow the transaction, when you try again.

Your transaction may also be declined, if:
a) Your card is not for use online;
b) Usage of your card is restricted;
c) You have insufficient funds;
d) Your order value is less than £5.

If, after you have entered your card details on the payment page, you are then asked for a 3D-Secure password, this is a password which you create, and which only you and your card-issuing bank will know. We cannot assist you with this.

If you are unsure why your card has been declined, please call your card-issuing bank, and ask for its advice.

If you think that we might be able to help you, please phone us on +44 (0)1242 544563 during UK office hours.
