| Description: |
Bollywood drama. Chander (Rishi Kapoor) is a laid-back young man, happily engaged to his fianceé Chandni (Ashwini Bhave). When a freak accident leaves Chander washed up on the beach of a foreign village with amnesia, his life changes completely. Unable to remember his fianceé, Chander is taken in and looked after by the villagers. Soon he falls for the innocent local girl Henna (Zeba), although this puts him in conflict with the corrupt local police chief Shahbaaz Khan (Saeed Jaffrey), who is also in love with her. On the eve of their wedding, Chander suddenly regains his memory and determines to return to Chandni. Henna and the selfless villagers do their best to help him return, but the malicious Khan frames him as a spy. Only if Henna marries him will he let Chander go - something the heroic Henna is willing to do if it means saving the man she loves. |
