The romance doesn't last though, and by the end of episode one, Diane is making Sam walk the plank on a boat trip. Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) is introduced to Lillith (Bebe Newirth) and gets dating advice from Diane. Carla (Rhea Perlman) falls for a hockey goalie and Cliff (John Ratzenberger) invites Norm (George Wendt) along to join his lodge.
