| Description: |
Based on true events, this film tells of the life of cult leader Ervil LeBaron (Brian Dennehy), who believed that he was an emmisary of God's will, and that anyone who rebelled against his desires was rebelling against God himself. Such was the strength of his self-belief, he was able to order the death of his brother, simply because he defied his will. The job of bringing LeBaron to justice fell to Dan Fields (William Devane), but the lawman was shocked to discover the extent of LeBaron's pervasive influence. |
