Description:

A spoof documentary about a radical rap band called Niggaz with Hats (the hats are important because apparently American plantation owners wouldn't let black slaves wear hats in the burning sun). The film satirises the excesses of the rap world as the band are trailed on tour by journalist Nina Blackburn (Kasi Lemmons), who engages them in political debate whilst the boys wrangle with promoters, record companies and each other.
