| Description: |
All six episodes from the first season of the 1970s ITV sitcom set in Norfolk during the Second World War. Three very different young women - debutante Daphne Finch-Beauchamp (Marilyn Galsworthy), Cockney lass Jenny Dabb (Terese Stevens) and down-to-earth Jewish girl Shirley Bloom (Philippa Howell) - are sent to Crabtree Farm, Norfolk, owned by the tight-fisted farmer Tom Whitlow (John Stratton), to work as 'land girls' - replacing the male farm labourers who have been sent off to the front.
