| Description: |
Tragedy strikes in the lives of Michael and Allison Overton (Michael Esposito and Marie Caldare) when their only child Jody is killed in a car accident. Of the two, it is Allison who is most traumatised by the accident; she is unable to accept the reality of what has happened and begins living under the illusion that Jody is still alive. When they seek help from their psychiatrist Dr Turner (John Hurt), the couple agree to follow his suggestion and hire Kathryn Randolph (Beth Tegarden), a full-time, live-in psychiatric nurse, to help out. But as he witnesses Kathryn's highly unorthodox methods, Michael becomes increasingly unsure as to her real motives and begins worrying for his wife's safety. |
