Bollywood meets social satire in this family drama about a suburban middle-class Punjabi family presided over by a matriarchal - and staunchly traditional - 'Badi-Mum' (grandmother). Badi-Mum believes that women should be subservient to their husbands, and spends all her time and energy trying to marry off members of her family to suitable spouses.
