Description: |
The complete first season of this military-action/virtual-reality series from Chris Carter, creator of 'The X-Files'. Returning from the war in Sarajevo, Lieutenant Thomas F Hobbes is preparing for a life of domesticity when the military give him one last assignment. He must enter Harsh Realm, a virtual reality wargame, and overthrow the oppressive regime of Omar Santiago, the evil dictator who rules this hostile virtual world. His body is in a coma-like state while his mind is fully engaged with Harsh Realm, but he becomes embroiled to the point where the US Army inform his fianceé that he has died. He is left to fight by any means necessary to flee the fantasy world and return home to the real one. Episodes are: pilot, 'Leviathan', 'Inga Fossa', 'Kein Ausgang', 'Reunion', 'Three Percenters', 'Manus Domini', 'Cincinnati' and 'Camera Obscura'. |
