Description: |
Three children's movies. In 'Care Bears: The Care Bears Movie' (1985), The Care Bears' special loving magic is needed when a little boy unleashes evil onto the world. Travelling through the galaxy to the rescue, the bears also enlist the help of the Care Bear Cousins in this animated fantasy. Carole King provided the music and Mickey Rooney narrates. In 'All Dogs Must Go to Heaven 2' (1996), heavenly dog Charlie Barkin (voiced by Charlie Sheen) has to return to Earth once again when Gabriel's horn is stolen from heaven. He and sidekick Itchy (vocal talents from Dom DeLuise) get into all sorts of scrapes until they team up with a young runaway boy and an Irish setter (Sheena Easton). 'Tom's Midnight Garden' (1998), is an adaptation of the the children's classic. When his brother comes down sick with measles, young Tom Long (Anthony Way) goes to stay in the old dilapidated manor house where his aunt and uncle live. Late one night Tom hears the old house clock strike 13 and goes to investigate. What he finds, after creeping through the house and opening the backdoor, is a beautiful sunlit garden populated by people dressed in Victorian clothes, all of whom seem ignorant of his presence, all except for 12 year-old Hatty. |
