| Description: |
This romantic comedy stars Andy Garcia as Gary Starke, a fast-living ticket tout who survives on his wits and his own dubious code of honour. Gary is always dreaming of the next scheme to line his pockets, but his girlfriend Linda (Andie McDowell) is tired of his immaturity and the lack of stability. She decides it is time to pursue a dream of her own and dumps Gary to become a chef in Paris. At the same time, Gary's economic fortunes take a downturn, with the arrival in the neighbourhood of Casino, an unscrupulous new tout. Gary thinks he can win Linda back, but it all depends on his craziest scheme yet - selling tickets for an audience with the Pope! |
