| Description: |
Double bill of animated features from the Dreamworks studios. 'Spirit - Stallio of the Cimarron' follows the adventures of a stallion named Spirit during the days of the Old West. Born into the wild, Spirit is one day captured and detained at a US cavalry base, where he refuses a soldier's attempts to break him. Joining with an imprisoned Red Indian brave called Little Creek, Spirit soon escapes the camp and goes to stay with his new friend's people. But when he is later recaptured and forced to work on the railroad, Spirit realises that his land and his family are in grave danger. Features songs by Bryan Adams. Whilst in 'The Road to El Dorado', when luckless Spanish adventurers Tulio and Miguel obtain a map showing the way to El Dorado, the legendary city of gold, they immediately set sail for Mexico and the adventure of a lifetime. After a perilous sea voyage, they reach their destination and are lavished with more gold than they ever dreamed of; but the people of El Dorado are in danger, and Tulio and Miguel must decide what matters to them most - their wealth or their newfound friends. Features music by Elton John, Tim Rice and Hans Zimmer, the Oscar-winning team behind 'The Lion King'. |
