Description:

All four episodes from series one of the TV comedy following the efforts of a group of foreign correspondents as they try to break the big story. When the war in the African nation of Karibu finally grabs the attention of the world's media, local BBC reporter Harry Chambers (Bruce Mackinnon) thinks his time has come. Unfortunately for Harry, the powers that be have decided to despatch their crack newsteam, led by ego-on-legs editor David Bradburn (Martin Jarvis). Along with seen-it-all producer Jane (Doon Mackichan), and Margaret (Joanna Brookes) from the World Service, the team are confident they can break the story, but the arrival of hot-shot US reporter Candida Colter soon threatens to throw a spanner in the works.
