Description: |
First series of the Australian spoof fly-on-the-wall-documentary comedy. Kath (Jane Turner) is an affluent, suburban woman happy now that her daughter has left the house, leaving her to spend her days with her toy boy lover Kel (Glenn Robbins). To her great shock however, daughter Kim (Gina Riley) returns to the nest with her baby after separating from her new husband Brett (Peter Rowsthorn), setting the scene for constant mother-daughter conflict. In this series, Kim goes speed-dating at the local pub, Kath and Kel make preparations for their wedding, and Kim goes internet shopping with Kath's credit card.
