Bollywood romance film debut for Hritik Roshan, son of Bollywood mogul Rakesh Roshan that became an unexpexted blockbuster. Rohit (Hritik Roshan) is a lowly car salesman by day, sharing quarters with his younger brother. By night however, he is an aspiring singer and his birdlike tones capture the heart of Sonia (Ameesha Patel) - the standard Bollywood princess of some breeding from the other side of the tracks. There is simply no way her father would ever accept a cheap suit struggling cabaret act like Rohit into his family. Rohit vows firmly that he will make it big then return and show the family he is worth of their little princess. No sooner is the beleaguered Rohit out in the world and on his quest for the bigtime, than he witnesses a policeman's murder. Things take a very unforeseen and fateful twist. |
