Christmas family comedy starring Patrick Swayze and Tim Curry. Christmas is looking dismal for the Saunders family. Having just moved to the city of Edmonton from Los Angeles, they have no friends, no money and - with the exception of the ever-cheerful Mary (Amy Schlagel) - no Yuletide spirit. To make matters worse, their mother is stuck at the airport in LA, so the Christmas shopping duties fall on dad Wayne (Swayze). When he and his despondent offspring get to the mall, they find a satchel stuffed with counterfeit cash and become embroiled in the shenanigans of a gang of crooks headed by the dastardly McLoosh (Curry). |
