| Description: |
Martial arts action for the new millennium, inspired by Jackie Chan's popular 'Drunken Master' movies. Set in 1930s China, the film tells the story of Master Wen Biao (Chia Liang-Liu), who loses his place in the family business when he comes to blows with a younger clansbrother Wen Bao (Chiang Chun Wan), after discovering that the young man is using the business as a front for illegal activities. Retreating to the countryside to stay with a close friend's daughter, Xiao Min (Shannon Yao), Master Biao takes on a couple of students and teaches them the monkey style of kung fu fighting. When Wen Bao's men discover his whereabouts during a street brawl, Master Biao and his newly-trained students must fight back for all they are worth. |
