Description: |
Double-bill of cult exploitation classics from director Doris Wishman. In 'Bad Girls Go To Hell' (1965), young bride Meg (Gigi Darlene) is left by her husband to fend for herself and kills her building's janitor in self-defence when he tries to rape her. After changing her name and going on the run, Meg falls in with a drunken wife-beater and a bohemian lesbian, and ends up taking a job as housemaid to an elderly woman whose son is the detective investigating the janitor's murder. 'Another Day, Another Man' (1967) follows newly-married couple Steve (Tony Gregory) and Ann (Barbi Kemp). Little does Steve know that his wife and her old roomate used to be prostitutes, and when Steve falls ill, Ann goes back to her old profession to raise some money. When Steve finally discovers his wife's secret past, he commits suicide in despair. |
