Description:

1944 documentary following the B-17 Flying Fortress 'Memphis Belle' on its final bombing raid over Germany. The first bomber to complete 25 missions over enemy territory, the 'Memphis Belle' subsequently returned to the United States, where it achieved legendary status. This film follows the men of the 324th squadron of the 91st heavy bombardment group, as they prepare to leave their base in England to bomb targets in the German coastal town of Wilhelmshaven.
