Synopsis: |
In 1998, Jill Paton Walsh completed Dorothy L. Sayers' last, unfinished Lord Peter Wimsey novel, Thrones, Dominations to widespread praise. Although Sayers never began another Wimsey novel, she did leave clues. A series of letters from members of the Wimsey family, was published in the Spectator in 1939 and 1940, and several short stories later collected in Striding Folly would follow. But until now, no one has really known what happened to them all. In this story, Jill Paton Walsh tells how World War II changed the lives of Peter, Harriet and their growing family. |
