Massimina Fantastici Rosellini (1788-1859) e stata una scrittrice fiorentina autrice di tragedie, testi per l'infanzia e di un poema epico sui viaggi di Amerigo Vespucci. Apprezzata e letta dai contemporanei (come dimostrano le citazioni in riviste e antologie dell'epoca) e stata anche tra i corrispondenti di Silvio Pellico in un periodo che va dall'uscita della tragedia "I Pargi" nel 1838 alla pubblicazione del poema "Amerigo" nel 1844. Non ho reperito nel mio lavoro di ricerca lettere antecedenti o successive a questo periodo il che fa supporre che la corrispondenza tra Pellico e la Rosellini sia iniziata con l'invio della tragedia I Pargi da parte della Rosellini e si sia concluso nel 1844, dopo che il Pellico aveva deciso di stampare a Torino e non a Firenze la sua cantica sul Tasso. |
