Synopsis: |
This book was created from a series of online journal entries that traces typical days of childcare as the author tries to raise his sons. Getting up in the morning, getting dressed and ready for school, progressing through the long six block walk there and back, breakfast with his younger son and then getting him onto the bus for preschool. It covers the author's daily activities and then the frenzy of after school activities, preparing supper, bathtime and fi nally, bedtime. The story continues, including the remaining months of the author's marriage, the depression he dealt with following his grandmother's death and the pressures of going in to a job he loathed, working with people he grew to despise. It fi nally ends with the separation from his wife, including the three months when he was deprived of his children, the reunion when he was allowed to see them again and then the initial months when he was fi nally allowed back into their lives. |
