Detective Inspector Jameson, a wealthy and well respected policeman, is thrust into a strange case of triple murder, which involves two killers, an international assassination gang, industrial spying and eventually a personal attack on his life. Deep in the Yorkshire Dales two friends are assassinated, there appears to be no motive or cause. A third killing, this time a hanging, complicates matters for Jameson as he starts to unravel some of the puzzle. Prostitution, spying, lying, greed, jealousy and love are all mixed together in this true fight for good against evil. As the case moves to central Europe, Jameson is forced to take Samantha Knight, his girlfriend, along who speaks fluent french and german. Torture, kidnapping, shooting, psychological terror, blood, passion and infidelity are swirled around in this cocktail of deceit and injustice. A twist in the final tale sees Jameson forced to resign from the force. |
