"Bugs Are Us" pack includes DVD of 3 short films: cartoon film of "Bugs Are Us" which looks at personal hygiene from the bugs point of view and all the things bugs like, such as dirty, sweaty clothes and unwashed children. It lasts 5.5 mins. 2 films of handwashing - one to show correct handwashing technique and one using the lightbox to demonstrate effective handwashing. Each lasts 3.5 mins. CD includes cartoon images for schools to use to promote effective personal hygiene and printable versions of the lesson plans and pupil worksheets. The CD also includes: printable version of "Beating the Bugs Board Game" which is based on snakes and ladders, as well as 3 teacher books for key stage 1, key stage 2 and extension activities and games. Each book comes with background information, lesson plans and pupil worksheets. |
