Lee Egan (Timothy Hutton) is a small time L.A. crook who, in order to retire away from the city, arranges a jewel robbery in Palm Springs with the help of his more successful brother Roy (Harvey Keitel) and driver Skip (Stephen Dorff). The plan succeeds, but when Skip double-crosses the gang, killing Lee in the process, Roy vows revenge. |
