Three children's adventures. In 'Zoom' (2006), when Earth is faced with certain destruction, an over-the-hill superhero (Tim Allen) is charged with the task of training four super-powered kids to harness their powers and save the planet. 'Thunderbirds' (2004), follows the intergalactic adventures of the Tracy family, headed by former astronaut Jeff Tracy (Bill Paxton), who lives with his five sons on the top-secret Tracy Island, which also houses the headquarters of the top-secret International Rescue organisation. Whilst in 'The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl' (2005), Max (Cayden Boyd), a ten-year-old outcast, escapes his lonely world when his dreams magically come to life. Max and his two imaginary friends, Sharkboy (Taylor Lautner), a half-breed of boy and shark and Lavagirl (Taylor Dooley), with flaming hair and hands that melt everything she touches, embark on a mission to prove to the world that all it takes is a dream to make anything a reality. |
