Synopsis: |
The Long View is a revealing portrait of the marriage of Antonia and Conrad Fleming. The ingenious construction offers a remarkably real view of the shifting relationship between Conrad, who delighted in being brilliant but bloody minded; and Antonia, an elegant wife, subdued by love and fear. Moving back in time over 24 years, we see the early years of their marriage, through its gradual stages of erosion, back to the very first meeting of husband and wife. |
