After the devastation of The Civil War, Lora married wounded Union soldier Wade Tyler and accompanied him to his ancestral estate on the island of Manhattan. But all is not what it seems in Wade's boyhood home. Wade is estranged from his young son, and there is the tragic drowning of Wade's first wife which haunts the Tyler household. Was Virginia's death an accident, suicide, or something worse? |
