This series of yearbooks provides a forum for an ongoing discussion and analysis of India's foreign policy. Each volume reviews India's foreign policy concerns during the year, provides specifically commissioned analytical essays on a particular region or country which figured prominently in the conduct of India's foreign policy and presents important primary documents relating to the issues dicussed. This volume reviews 1988 and covers India's disarmament initiatives and an Indian perspective on the recent restructuring in the Soviet Union. It also reviews India's relations with Pakistan, Sri Lanka, China, Japan, Germany and the United States. |
