The Scottish composer Charles O'Brien (1882-1968) was the fourth generation of professional musicians in his family and studied under Hamish MacCunn. In this version for piano, Barcarolle, originally from a suite of four pieces written for small orchestra in 1904, has the composer's own fingering. |
