Synopsis: |
Life in the idyllic Lake District has returned to normal for small-town journalist, Ben Foxley and his wife, Helen. And that's just as well, following their traumatic encounter with serial-killer, Hector Snodd, the man who became known as The Fell Walker. But those days are long gone and Snodd is dead. Or is he - ? A series of accidental deaths in the area seems innocuous enough until in amongst the mail Ben receives a chilling note declaring HS LIVES ON. Is it just a sick joke or could there really be a copycat killer on the loose? Ben isn't taking any chances and contacts the police. Soon, he finds himself embroiled in a major investigation as the body count rises and fear spreads. When Ben discovers he is also a target he knows the race is on. A race, no doubt, to the death. Michael Wood's thrilling sequel to his highly acclaimed novel, The Fell Walker, will have you on tenterhooks right from the outset. |
