Synopsis: |
This title contains two stories featuring characters from the Cadi series.Thomas wants to make a special seed cake for Dad's birthday party. Mum wants to make sure there are enough sandwiches. They set out on a shopping trip to buy the ingredients. Cadi the cat goes too - just to make sure they don't forget what she wants. They stop at the bakery for bread, then at Gran's house for eggs. Thomas is anxious about the seeds for the cake. Gran is an enthusiastic gardener and gives him the seeds he asks for, but they are more suitable for planting than baking! Everything turns out happily in the end: Mum finds the right ingredients, Dad has a lovely party and even Cadi gets her favourite food. |
