Description: |
When cowboys Cash (William Farnum) and Jeff (J. Farrell MacDonald) discover the orphan Bill alone in the desert they argue over who should adopt him. Cash wins the argument and raises Bill (William Boyd) to be a fine young man, while Jeff has a child of his own, the beautiful Mary Ellen (Helen Twelvetrees). Years later, Bill falls in love with Mary Ellen, and Cash and Jeff fall out again, leaving Bill to decide between his own adoptive father and the father of the woman he loves. Clark Gable appears in an early performance as the villain Rance Brett and is also featured in the accompanying documentary 'Clark Gable on Film'. |
