In this edition from the series of Charlie Chan films starring Warner Oland, Chan takes his entire family, including his honourable wife, to the Circus. The owner has sent for him because he has been receiving threatening letters and asks Chan to investigate. As Chan begins he is wrapped up in all the circus acts including dancing midgets, trapeze performers, a pretty contortionist and a mad ape.
