Mike 'Austin Powers' Myers returns in this madcap tale of an Indian guru's attempt to help a star hockey player get back on track. When the Toronto Maple Leafs' star player Darren Roanoke (Romany Maloco) encounters marital problems, the news that his wife is seeing rival L.A. Kings star Jacques Grande (Justin Timberlake) causes his game to hit rock bottom. With her team's fortunes quickly disappearing, Maple Leafs owner Jane Bullard (Jessica Alba) enlists the services of expert relationship guru Maurice Pitka (Myers) to bring the warring couple back together, thereby helping the team's future. An American child abandoned in India and raised by gurus, Pitka is finally lured back to the land of his birth by an extortionate fee, and the promise of a spot on Oprah Winfrey's show. But once he starts his therapy, all thoughts of his own success fly out of the window, as he quickly becomes smitten with the gorgeous Miss Bullard. |
