Billy Bob Thornton's film (which sat on the shelves for several years and was in fact his directorial debut) is a semi-comic look at an eccentric American family from the Deep South; and has a host of big names such as Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Affleck and Laura Dern in supporting roles.
