| Description: |
Danny is a half-American, half-Korean baby taken on board a US aircraft carrier at the end of the Korean war. Forsaken by his mother, Danny is adopted by the doting crew, and soon boosts their flagging morale. Red tape prevents Danny from living in the US, however, unless he is officially adopted. Navy surgeon Hugh Keenan seems the ideal man for the job, as his own child was still-born, but armed forces regulations prevent him from doing so. Keenan has to choose between Danny, on whom he dotes, and his job, to which he is devoted. |
