Jake Ferrari (Tara Subkoff) is a teenage girl who likes candy more than anything else. When she is abandoned by her mother, Jake decides to move in with her sister Darlene (Kristy Swanson). As it turns out, Darlene does not want her either. Jake is stranded until Marcia Guerra (Sandra Bernhard) takes her in. Marcia runs 'Jean's American Spa', a sexy, irreverent massage parlour next door.
