| Description: |
British comedy drama in which a well-meaning but somewhat pretentious filmmaker, Jasper (Dominic Coleman), is assigned to make a film with a group of teenage wheelchair-users. It soon becomes apparent that the heartfelt social-realist hymn to the endurance of the human spirit he had in mind has little to do with the experiences and desires of the young people, and his high-minded plans run aground in a series of ever more complex and comical complications. Meanwhile, the real stories unfold around him as the characters and relationships within the group develop in their own wayward and wholly unscripted fashion. |
