| Description: |
Comedy drama starring Luke Wilson as Henry Poole, an atheist who learns that he has only six weeks to live. Leaving his fiancee and family business behind him, he buys a house in an anonymous suburban neighbourhood and gets down to the serious business of drinking too much and eating pizza while he waits for death. However, Henry's plan to fade away unnoticed is disrupted when his neighbour, Esperanza, (Adrianna Barrazza) sees the face of Jesus in a water stain on his patio wall and shares the miracle with her church and friends. Before long Henry's life is filled with an assortment of characters who put paid to any notion of turning quietly away from life. |
