Description: |
Drama about love, betrayal and survival, set in World War Two. Doctor Artur Planck (Joseph Fiennes) and his family are Polish Jews in 1941, on the run from the Nazis. They find a hiding place at the farm of Emilia (Kelly Harrison), a woman whose husband left to fight and hasn't returned. When Artur and Emilia's friendship develops into an affair, Artur is put in a difficult position. His behaviour could destroy his family but if he puts a stop to his relationship with Emilia, he risks losing the safety of the farm and falling into the hands of the Nazis. |
