Description: |
A box set containing all 22 episodes from the first season of the 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' spin-off. In 'City of', Angel (David Boreanaz) and Cordelia relocate to Los Angeles, where they team up with half-demon Doyle. 'Lonely Hearts' sees Angel hunting a serial killer who strikes at LA's single bars, while 'In the Dark' sees Spike arrive in town, determined to obtain a mystical relic currently in Angel's possession. In 'I Fall to Pieces', Angel helps a young woman who is being attacked by a disembodied stalker, while 'RM W/A VU' sees Cordelia moving into a haunted apartment. In 'Sense and Sensitivity', Kate is forced to undergo sensitivity training when her temper flares once too often, with some strange results. 'The Bachelor Party' sees Doyle reunited with an old flame, while in 'I WIll Remember You', Buffy comes to LA to visit Angel. 'Hero' sees Doyle attempting to help a band of refugees, and in 'Parting Gifts' Angel and Cordelia are teamed with an old friend when they go on the trail of some demonic bounty. Whilst in 'Somnabulist', Angel fears that he may have carried out a series of killings in his sleep. In 'Expecting', Cordelia finds herself immediately pregnant after spending the night with new beau Wilson. 'She' sees Angel on the trail of a demon from another dimension, while in 'I've Got You Under My Skin', Angel and Cordelia try to help a young boy, Ryan, who has become possessed. 'The Prodigal' sees Angel having flashbacks to his human past and the death of his family. In 'The Ring', Angel is hired by a man whose brother has been kidnapped by demons, while 'Eternity' finds Angel a reluctant celebrity after he saves a famous actress from being hit by a car. In 'Five by Five', second Slayer Faith creates chaos when she arrives in Los Angeles and begins behaving in very strangely, while 'Sanctuary' sees Angel caught in a compromising situation with Faith when Buffy arrives unexpectedly. In 'War Zone', Angel and his colleagues help out a billionaire who is being blackmailed for attending a demon club. 'Blind Date' sees Angel doing battle with a blind female killer, and finally in 'To Sanshu in L.A.', Wesley discovers a prophecy of Angel's death in an ancient scroll. |
