| Description: |
Box set containing three spoof comedy movies. In 'Club Dread' (2004), when rock star has-been Coconut Pete (Bill Paxton) invites Broken Lizard (Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter and Erik Stolhanske) to his booze-soaked holiday resort Pleasure Island, the high-spirited fun and sexual frolics soon take a deadly turn - leaving the island's utterly inept staff to battle a machete-wielding maniac as they fight to survive another day in paradise. In 'Super Troopers' (2001), five over-enthusiastic but under-stimulated State Troopers raise hell on the highways, keeping motorists anxiously looking in their rear-view mirrors. Threatened with shutdown by the state government and an ongoing feud with the local cops, the Troopers find themselves heading toward calamity as they struggle to avoid extinction. In 'Freddy Got Fingered' (2001), Gord Brody (Tom Green) is an aspiring cartoonist who travels to Los Angeles hoping to sell his ideas for an animated TV series. The ideas don't meet with much success, and Gord returns to his parents' home in Portland, Oregon. After a family argument, Gord falsely accuses his father of child abuse and thereby causes his younger brother to be taken into care. Gord then returns to L.A. with fresh ideas, but his father follows in hot pursuit, determined to have his revenge. |
