Description: |
Four of the ribald teen comedies. In 'American Pie' (1999), Prom Night at East Green Falls High is only three weeks away and hormonal teens Jim (Jason Biggs), Oz (Chris Klein), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas) and Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) all vow to lose their virginity before the big night. Rumours are already spreading of Finch's sexual prowess; Oz plans to seduce the newly arrived Heather (Mena Suvari); and Kevin, well at least he has girlfriend Vicky (Tara Reid); but Jim is growing more desperate with every passing day. Will the boys get lucky in the time remaining? In 'American Pie 2' (2001), the gang are reunited a year later, older but not necessarily any wiser. With their end-of-semester vacation ahead Jim, Oz, Kevin, Vicky and Heather gather to spend summer in a beachhouse by the sea. Jim freaks out at the news that his one-night stand Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth) is coming down to the lakeside house to take things further; will he be able to perfect his 'technique' in time? Against a backdrop of wild parties, some outrageous lesbian revelations, and a cautionary experience with some super glue, the gang learn what made and keeps them the best of friends. In 'American Pie: The Wedding' (2003), the gang have left college and are reunited when Jim proposes to Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) and enlists his bunch of friends to help him organise the wedding. The usual hi-jnks occur including Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Stiffler (Seann William Scott) pursuing the bride-to-be's younger sister, Jim's attempts to impress his future in-laws going embarassingly wrong, and Jim's Gran objecting to the union on the grounds that the bride is not Jewish. Finally, in 'American Pie Present - Band Camp' (2005), Matt Stifler (Tad Hilgenbrinck) is facing expulsion from school when he hears about his brother's wife's experiences at Band Camp when she was younger. Convincing the school to send him to Band Camp for the summer, Matt plans on setting up hidden cameras and making his own real-life porno video, but when he falls for the gorgeous Elyse (Arielle Kebbel), Matt struggles to change his ways, with hilarious results. |
