| Description: |
1950s western starring Alan Ladd and Shelley Winters. When Mountie Thomas O'Rourke (Ladd) and his half brother, Cree Indian Cajou (Jay Silverheels), discover Grace (Winters), the only survivor of a burned out wagon, new Mountie Inspector Benton (Robert Douglas) surmises that the fire was a result of a Cree attack and disarms the tribe. Meanwhile, the Sioux Indians are hoping to make the Crees their allies in order to defeat the US 7th Cavalry. The Canadian policemen attempt to prevent the joining of the two Indian tribes, leaving O'Rourke to choose between his duty and his morals. |
