Horror comic book adaptation. Deep in the swamps of the Florida Everglades, a real estate tycoon is trying to develop the land for commercial use when one of his crewmen is killed. A local Seminole Indian tribe gets the blame, but they know that the real culprit is the monstrous Man Thing, a living plant creature that burns to death anyone within whom he senses fear. The Man Thing was once a scientist himself, but has become hideously deformed after injecting himself with an experimental serum, and is condemned to wander the swamps for eternity. |
