Bob (Rodney Bewes) and Terry (James Bolam) find their lifelong friendship beginning to change as Terry becomes involved with a new woman and the lads' weekly drinks sessions stop. Bob is dismayed, but his wife sees the opportunity to get Terry married off and put a wedge between the friends.
