| Description: |
British horror. Susan Hampshire stars as Anna, a woman escaping her marital troubles by taking a holiday in Jersey. While walking on the beach one day, she meets lighthouse-keeper Hugh (Michael Petrovitch) and, as he shows her round the island, they begin to fall in love. When Hugh's brother George (Frank Finlay) begins to resent Anna's intrusion into their lives, the pair decamp to a remote part of Scotland. One day while making love on a beach, Hugh dies suddenly. Bereft at her loss, Anna longs for her partner - her prayers being answered when he returns from the dead. |
